Reason for this Petition

The following residents of the ACT draw to the attention of the Assembly

  • the Erskine Street Neighbourhood Playground in the suburb of Macquarie is small, with an old swing set as the only piece of play equipment.
  • there is space for potential upgrades; and
  • attractive, ascendible, and well-equipped playgrounds are particularly important for local families who reside near this playground 

Requested Actions

Your petitioners, therefore, request the Assembly to

  • work closely with the Macquarie community to determine what improvements should be made to the Eskine Street Neighbourhood Playground; and implement those improvements.
