The following residents of the ACT draw the attention of the Assembly that: There have been dangerous trees with falling limbs up the walkway between Doolette Place and Menzies Place, Kambah. There have been and continue to be problems with dangerous trees and the lack of action from Fix-My-Street and those responsible for tree management. There is now a situation where trees have been planted on front of windows impacting views and blocking access to properties. Interactions with the relevant area in Fix-My- Street have been less than satisfactory with an unwillingness to discuss the issues raised civilly.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the Assembly call on the ACT Government to investigate the management of trees on the walkway between Doolette Place and Menzies Place, Kambah, and the interactions of those responsible for tree management with the public.
